O365: Improve Microsoft Office Skills

Featured Image

So, your company has made the move and you're living your best Microsoft Office 365 life. Congratulations! From Teams to the Office Suite your workday has gone from sour to sweet. Right? Hopefully! We all know the saying "Give a woman a fish, she'll eat for a day. Teach a woman to fish and she'll never be hungry again." Well, if it's one thing we've learned working with our customers, this saying embodies it fully! You can have all the tools in the world with the bells and whistles to boot but if you don't know how to use those tools (and most importantly, how to use them specifically for your business) then they aren't worth anything to you. Luckily, there's a simple solution: knowledge. Knowledge is power and in this blog, we're going to show your our superpower when it comes to learning all things Microsoft Office 365.

O365

Superpower might sound dramatic but with the results we've seen with Storyals, it's actually right on point. So, who is Storyals? Storyals is a story-based tutorial (Get it? Story+tutorials = Storyal?!) company we have partnered with at BEMO to provide instructor-led Microsoft 365 training to our Managed IT customers! In today's lightspeed-paced modern world, it's impossible to keep up with the demands of technology and your team. The overwhelm can leave you feeling like...well, this:

Your people need specific tools and want to use those tools from work, home, and in-between. You need to keep people happy while keeping them connected and providing them with the products to make your business thrive but...how do you do that safely? Shockingly enough, most companies don't! And we understand why. From Microsoft updating the Admin Panel so that you have no idea where things are to people accidentally clicking on a phishing email, things can get precarious pretty fast.

O365 Training for End Users

BEMO's Managed IT offering cures all of the above and more (learn more here) but it does so in concert with education. Not only will your company be safer when people know how to use the tools you've purchased, they also will be more productive, saving you time and money. How does Storyals do this? Training! OK, OK, I know we've all been through our share of groan-inducing training. Watch a boring video, maybe take a quick quiz, and bam! You're supposed to absorb that knowledge and put it to use, right?

Well, no.

We all know that learning like that doesn't actually work. Storyals saw this gap in the way we learn and did something about it. Through interactive 30-minute sessions, our customers experience hands-on training specific to their company. There are no blanket statements here, no one-size-fits-all approach. Your company is an individual and should be trained as such. Storyals does just that. But don't just take my word for it. Learn more in this interview where I speak with Storyals' CEO Julianne Hemingway.

Office 365 Productivity Training

While we will leave the overall training to Storyals, we are always happy to share whatever nuggets of knowledge we come across in the Microsoft world (and beyond!). If you're new to the Microsoft suite, here are a few quick reads from the BEMO blog that will have you buzzing about in O365 in no time!
